A walk in progress

I managed to snap of picture of young master Q mid-walking. I’d actually taken a better one but accidentally deleted it from the camera. He now will walk (with encouragement) across the living room to me. The encouragement is the key here, because otherwise he will take the easier route and crawl, crawl, crawl.

Another weekend is nearly upon us. Andrew’s schedule is actually giving him a rare Saturday off. I’m pretty excited about this because Andrew has agreed to hang out with Quinten so I can have some time to myself. No major plans have been made just yet, though I do intend to sneak off somewhere with my book and my knitting. Maybe I’ll sneak a pedicure in there too. Or see a movie.

And because I’m concurrently watching Friday Night Lights, I present you with another picture in lieu of more writing.  Edit: How freakin’ awesome is it that FNL depicts (not directly, but you know showing a Medela pump in her office) Tami Taylor expressing milk at work, followed by a comedic moment with Riggins brothers trying to figure out what the pump parts were for?  Praise be for a show that doesn’t automatically assume mamas stop breastfeeding when they return to work.
