Mama’s day off went well. With no particular plans in store, I headed out around 11, hit Half Price Books before heading over to the theatre to see Dan in Real Life, and rounded out the day with a visit to Book-Woman.
I have always enjoyed going to movies by myself. Something about sitting in that dark theatre, at ease to experience whatever emotions might befall me during the course of the film has always appealed to me. I was one of about 3 people there and had an entire row to myself.
After returning home, we had an early dinner, and commenced plowing through Season 4 of The Sopranos. We’ve been quick plowing through all the episodes, starting with the first season forward. Someday soon, we’re going to have to be a little more careful about what we watch in front of young master Q. Surely we don’t want him spouting all his Deadwood and Sopranos vocabulary to other people.
He seems to be more and more comfortable with his walking. I imagine he should be pretty steady on his feet by the time the family arrives Thanksgiving week.
We plan to catch the Veteran’s Day parade tomorrow. I’m excited to bring Quinten to his first parade! Thankfully Veteran’s Day falls on a weekend this year. I regularly attended the parade when I worked downtown.
